Family History:
When Ebony was younger her and her family would move around from town to town while her father was growing in the ranks of the Russian Military. She mostly undertook her studies at a base with other children from father's or rather parents that were located in that specific area. As Ebony grew up, she picked up the tools of the trade and ended up getting into the habits of gambling and messing around, but never going to far with boys around her age. It wasn’t until they were in a more permanent home that she noticed eyes on her from a Lieutenant under her father’s command. He was an older man, and she found herself falling for him from their random encounters to their late nights of fooling around. Thinking she was in love she gave him the one portion of her that she could never get back. Their antics went on for a year until she ended up getting pregnant with his baby. She knew this would bring dishonor on her and her family and she would ultimately be disowned because she was promised to another man through an arranged marriage.

Her family was disappointed, and they moved her to a more permanent location for her and the child. Moving back to Belozersk with her mother her father ultimately stayed on the base, where her family ended up separating after refusing to abort the child upon her father's request. Ebony felt like she was the reason that her family had broken apart so she took it upon herself to remove herself in hopes that her family would get back together if she was gone. Under the cover of night, she ran away with a small bag on her back. During the night she was attacked and hospitalized where she ended up losing her baby due to the trauma of the attack and blood loss. She became more ashamed and once she was on her feet and able to, she received her visa and travelled to New York where she began schooling a year later to become a nurse.

During her time in college she found herself desperate for money. While she was working on getting her degree and seeking to eventually become a citizen, she found herself becoming friends with someone who had ties with the Italian Mafia. She was taken in under their wing where she did their dirty deeds. She would lure men that hadn’t paid for protection or tried to run away from their grasps. She sold drugs on the side as well as sold her body eventually making her believe that this was all she would be good for despite trying to become a nurse to help others. She found herself in debt to them, but also continued to grow restless and guilty from her actions of leading men to their untimely deaths. As soon as Ebony graduated, she packed her bags up and cut off all ties to the Mafia and hoped that if she moved away far enough, she would be able to escape their grasp.

Upon moving to Washington after her graduation she took up a job at the local hospital where she found herself infatuated with one of the Doctors, Ben. They spent many long nights working together where they eventually became lovers. Despite Dimitri, the man that Ebony had an arranged marriage with showed up to find her. Unbeknownst to her he was working with the mafia to find her as well as seeking her out for his own accord.  Ebony ended up conceiving a child with Ben, but he up and disappeared. She was distraught, and finally caved into going with Dimitri where she would have the child with him around thinking the Ben had left her like Adam did all those years ago to her. Realizing the she was in danger after overhearing a conversation she attempted to flee but was knocked out and taken hostage. Over the course of months, she was able to escape but was unable to find her son. It took her several weeks, but she managed to locate him and rescue him with the help of law enforcement.

Knowing it was for the better she contacted her mother who was happy to take the child and keep him safe. She sent Grayson to live with her mother back in Russia and she continued on with her life in Index. Until she found herself once again in the grasp of Michael’s men. They kidnapped her once again, but this time she was unable to flee, and they brutally took advantage of her and beat her before dumping her in an alleyway to bleed out and die. Ben found her and turned her into a vampire. Once she was able to control her blood lust she went and found Drago and Michael, but was unable to find Dimitri, and still hunts for him to this day. Being a vampire was the last thing that Ebony wanted to become, there were many days where she just wished that Ben had allowed her to die in that alleyway rather than turn her. She is seeking out a reversal to her disease, and hopes that things could one day return to normal.
