BIOGRAPHY

Lucus has heavy ancestral ties to the caster world. Most of his family from his mother’s side were well known witches and warlocks that held high standing in their coven. It wasn’t until the Salem witch trials that their coven dispersed and spread throughout the content where most of Lucus’ ancestors took up residence in Rome. Throughout the year the knowledge was gain, but when Lucus’ ancestors moved away due to their coven being wiped out from hunters they found themselves on their own mingling with humans. After his great grandmother Aurora passed away any knowledge and thought of the magical world fell away bit by bit. Her books were stored away, and many of his family believed that hiding away their abilities would be for the best. Especially as modern times rolled around. Many of the family’s tales and stories still stuck around as bedtime stories, and if a child showed purpose then they would be told about their abilities.

When Lucus’ mother, Natalie, married his father, Liam, they were as happy as could be. Lucus’ brother Desmond was born first, and a year later Lucus was born. At first things were normal, but Natalie would occasionally see little Lucus reacting things she couldn’t see. As he grew older, they moved away and took up residence in Las Vegas, Nevada in hopes of running away from the past hiding away the possible talents that could be lingering in their child’s blood. As time ticked by Lucus as a toddler would play with things that his family couldn’t quite comprehend. Liam thought his child was hallucinating all the while Natalie knew that he was probably seeing spirits from the other side. He would play, talk, and laugh without a care in the world. It wasn’t until he was older that his mother had told him that he needed to ignore them, and they would leave him alone. At first, he didn’t understand why until he was in grade school and he was being made fun of for talking to himself in the corner.

Soon after he would ignore the spirits and find some calm within himself for the time being. At the age of ten Lucus’ mother died of cancer. He vowed that one day he would become a doctor, so he could help people in need. Whether it was fixing up a simple broken bone, to saving someone’s life. He felt that no one should ever have to feel a lose especially for younger children. As time went by Lucus and Desmond bonded keeping each other company while their father began drinking and ignoring his fatherly duties. Desmond was all Lucus had, as their father was nothing but a walking zombie. As the grew into teenagers they obtained fake ID’s and found themselves most nights living in the city life and away from their dreary life with their father. Hitting the age of seventeen Lucus and Desmond found themselves working with several drug dealers, selling off pills to their fellow classmates.

It wasn’t until Desmond graduated and left home that Lucus stopped. Finding himself betrayed and hurt by his brother who said he would never leave Lucus alone with their father. Anxious Lucus flew through school doing the bare minimum in order to graduate. Once graduation rolled around, he remembered the promise he had made to his mother, and his sudden urge to fulfill that. He soon looked into colleges and enrolled in a university in California. Lucus left in the middle of the night. Never telling anyone where he was going. All he did was left a simple note for his father saying that he would be okay. And that he was sorry that they were the ones that were alive and not their mother. Lucus found himself working nights in a bar called Hell where he met someone special. Someone that would change his life for the better, least for the time being. She led him to his true destiny, and allowed him to truly embrace who he was, and what he was.
